A. Hang Squat Clean

– 5 sets of 4 reps
Rest as needed

Pausing in catch position for :2 Before standing up.
Think about the position for the dead stop front squats worked on in last block.

Weights should be increased from last week.

Look to move into a solid catch position no bottoming out.

B. Push Jerk

– Set 1 – 8 reps
– Set 2 – 8 reps
– Set 3 – 6 reps
– Set 4 – 6 reps
– Set 5 – 4 reps
– Set 6 – 4 reps
Rest as needed

Putting into practice all the pressing work and positional work over the last block into practice now with the new phase and movement.

Loading should increase as weights come down.

C. Front-Racked Barbell Lunge

– 3 sets of 8 reps
Rest as needed

4 Per leg. This blocks goal is to build up some unilateral strength in your legs in order to feel more comfortable moving into the split jerk in the next block.
